My boyfriend and I came here for lunch on President's Day and had an enjoyable experience. The diner does not take reservations and there was a long line, but it moved pretty quickly. (A sign of a great restaurant is when there's a line out the door)! We waited about 20-25 mins to be seated. This place is cash-only, but that's part of its fifties era charm. They are not open for dinner, but their breakfast and lunch menus are huge and have a lot of variety. The restrooms were clean, which is of great importance to me when writing a review! The food was fresh and delicious- I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and he got the Classic Club Sandwich with fries and a side of fruit. We were pleased with the value. The portions were generous and we spent about $40 for the two of us. Our server was attentive and checked in on us frequently. The ambience is low key, casual, and very much how I envision a real fifties diner would have been. There are photos of Elvis on the wall! Even though it's busy, the tables are spaced far enough apart so that it doesn't feel crowded. It was actually pretty quiet and we had no trouble hearing each other. I would definitely come back here for lunch and I also want to try their brunch since the menu looks really good! I'm so glad I stumbled on this hole-in-the-wall diner which is a true gem!

Ducked in for a little lunch an hour before closing, which avoided waiting in the usual line to get in this popular, kitchy diner. Our server was super friendly and attentive--I regret not remembering her name because she was awesome! My friend had THE WORKS grilled cheese with chips and raved about it. I had the 50s DELUXE burger, run through the garden with cheddar. I swapped out the fries for onion rings (nominal up charge)and swapped potato salad for the coleslaw (no charge). The burger was a perfect medium and one of the best I've eaten. The onion rings were lacking in overall flavor but crunchy nonetheless. The star of the show was the potato salad! It was dilly and had some secret ingredient that really made flavors pop. I could have eaten an entire bowlful. REMEMBER: cash only; ATM on site.
